We’ve always had a thing for florals. Give us a beautiful rose, and we’ll probably find a way to put it on underwear. With Noir Devoción, we wanted to take that familiar beauty somewhere darker.

It started in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has become a place we keep coming back to. We love the people, the culture, and how we feel when we’re there.

It’s also where we first discovered Día de Muertos. What stayed with us was the love behind it—the care people take to remember someone, to celebrate their life, and to keep them part of the family story.

When we started working on Noir Devoción, we kept coming back to that feeling.

Why these roses?

Día de Muertos is a Mexican celebration honoring loved ones who have died, with November 1 and 2 central to many families’ observances. Flowers and offerings play a meaningful part in those traditions.

Our roses are a personal interpretation of the devotion that inspired us. We chose oxblood for its richness, black to give the floral depth, and ivory because it lets the darker colors stand out beautifully.

We spend a lot of time thinking about those choices. A different ground color or a brighter red would have made this an entirely different print. This combination gave us the mood we were looking for.

And yes, we care this much about underwear. You’re wearing it against your skin. You should love it.

Pick your cut

Noir Devoción comes in four styles, each giving the print a slightly different look.

  • Trunk — The short, square leg gives the roses more room. A good choice if you want to see more of the artwork.
  • Brief — For the guy who knows what he likes and comes back to a classic brief.
  • Y-Jock — The floral pouch up front, with our Y-back construction behind.
  • Thong — A minimal cut that keeps the roses front and center.

All four styles come in XS–3XL, with a black waistband and white skull mark.

Wear it whenever you feel like it

Día de Muertos gave this print its starting point, but we designed Noir Devoción to stay in your rotation.

Wear it under jeans, under your work clothes, or on a night when someone else might appreciate your taste in floral men’s underwear. You don’t need an occasion to wear a pair you love.

That’s why we started Skull & Bones in the first place. We wanted beautiful prints and underwear worth getting excited about. We still do.
